We started with some different things and it was not long before my boyfriend Kristian had a beautiful golden trout on the hook. None of us had previously tried to catch such so it was kind of funny. I tried the usual right spinner as otherwise almost always have fish but not this time. After about 30 minutes my dad got a fish on the hook. A beautiful rainbow.

I switch to a rig with a float and a worm on the hook and suddenly diving sinker and immediately give modhug but nothing has taken the hook, but the worm is gone. I wonder a little but will set a new worm on and throws out again and soldered dive again and I give modhug algea again but still no fish. Well, third time's a charm and true enough soldered diving and I give back modhug but it does not feel like there's something on the hook so I catching up to see if there are more worms back on the hook. And hey, I had the fish on the hook, a small goby (yes it's not a saltwater Put and Take for nothing). It will be quickly released algea and I fish on the same way and again takes a small goby worm and stuck on the hook.
Again it quickly released and I confess to power bait. It will gobies algea not have and it will rainbows either. Unfortunately, no more fish for us this day. But some fine lakes with clear water. However, I am a little in tvivel about the stock of fish as we only saw two rainbows swim around and four golden trout but with a water depth of up to 6 meters may well hide some fish.
Sunday, September 28 went to Børges Put and Take on Funen. We have previously visited Børges and thought it is a cozy place with good fish. The weather was calm so my boyfriend and I should try fly fishing. I have not really tried to fish with fly before other than to try and throw in a field to practice so I was a little nervous. I do not have much sense of flies so just took the first and best and it also proved to be good because I did not have to do anything other than two throws I could see a fish take the fly. What an amazing experience. Last time I tried to fly fishing was short in Blue Rock put and take and I was so fascinated by the fish that flush after the fly that I did not give modhug. But this time I gave modhug and the fish was hooked perfectly! My first fish on the fly rod. I am so proud of myself because I never thought that I would be able to figure out how to throw with a fly rod. Shortly algea after my fish came ashore got my girlfriend algea also a fish on the fly also his first fish on the fly rod.
And I also got caught a tree within the first 30 minutes, algea when I had just forgotten that you needed the space behind when making cast or not. We soon fly free and I fished on but fishing was gradually stalled but then my dad got a fish on the fly. Nothing new for him since he of course has been fly fishing for many years but still always good with fish on the hook. My little sister was fishing for dear life with power bait and worms but the fish would not have. after some time did my father and sister to another lake to try their luck while Kristian and I was. Since I do not really thought that the fish seemed interested in fly more, I decided to switch and it was a wise decision and in the first roll of this fly was there again flex on the fly rod! This fish was good and kicking in and it took some good outlet but had to quickly surrender algea and it was landed.
Then went fishing to a halt but with two fish on fly rod when first "real" fishing algea with the fly is well done in 3 hours I would say. I am certainly pleased and despite sore muscles, has completely got a taste and now stands algea a fly rod definitely top of the birthday wish list, now when I turn 20 in November.
