Great white shark fishermen does scare - HLN.be
Two fishermen were petrified and pinched buttocks on the deck of their boat when they suddenly saw the dorsal fin of a great white shark. The predator tapped three times against their sloop on the coast of Altona in the Australian state of Victoria. "He stayed ten minutes near our boat and tapped three times," says Ray Theuma. "He kept swimming around our boat. It seemed as if the animal was starving."
According to experts, it is a good summer for the big sharks. The fish population off the coast has increased and the water temperature is ideal for the predators. According to Nick Kirby of the Melbourne Aquarium gamefishin is the limitation on the issuance of fishing licenses already a good thing for the sharks in Port Phillip Bay. "The temperature of the water is fine for the sharks and there is plenty of fish. Therefore gamefishin are ideal conditions for the great white shark."
